The message that signs a creator is a first message, and first messages are the thing TikTok watches most closely. Send too many, too fast, too alike, and the account that gets throttled is yours: messages stop landing, sometimes for days, and you find out when the replies stop. This guide is about sending the same number of good messages without that.
What a throttled account looks like
- Messages send but replies drop to zero for a whole day, from creators who were answering the day before.
- A message shows as sent on your side and never appears on the creator's side.
- The compose action starts failing or asks you to wait.
- Nothing changes on your account page, and there is usually no notice. You infer it from the silence.
If two of those happen in one day, stop sending for the day. Pushing through a throttle makes it last longer.
The daily ceiling
In our own experience running agency accounts, around 200 first messages a day is where TikTok starts throttling. That is why every package we sell stops at 200 a day, the top one included. A larger quota is easy to sell and it would be your account paying for it. If you genuinely need more than that in a day, split the work across recruiters, each on their own account, each under the ceiling.
Most agencies never get near 200. A recruiter who checks names before writing sends far fewer messages a day and signs more than one who sends blind.
Pace it like a person
- Spread the day's messages over the day. Fifty at 9 a.m. reads as a script; fifty between 9 and 6 reads as a recruiter.
- Vary the text. Two or three templates, each with the creator's name and one thing you saw on their profile or their last live.
- Write only to creators you checked. Every message to someone who cannot join (already signed, wrong region) is a wasted slot and a signal you are not reading profiles.
- Keep a ledger: handle, date, template, reply. The same creator twice in a week is what gets you reported.
- Keep replies human. Automating the first message is fine; automating the conversation that follows is how agencies lose the creators who did answer.
How our bot does it
The Auto Check & Message bot on Telegram takes a list of handles and your template, checks each profile against your rules first, sends only to the ones that pass, and sends from your own account inside the daily ceiling. The free plan sends five first messages a day and twenty a month, and only a message that actually went out counts. Starter sends 50 a day, Pro 200. Checks are never counted.
The bot never decides for you. Your rules, your templates, your list. It removes the copy-paste, not the judgement.

How many first messages a day is safe on TikTok LIVE Backstage?
TikTok does not publish a number. In our own experience, around 200 a day is where throttling starts, and every plan we sell stops there. Agencies that check profiles before writing send far fewer and sign more.
Do messages from the bot come from my account?
Yes. The bot sends from your own TikTok account, inside the daily ceiling, only to creators that passed the rules you set. We run the tool; you keep the account.
